Victor leads our Western Australian team supporting clients across 12 sites including BHP, NSR, Genesis, CITIC Pacific, and AngloGold Ashanti. 

Recognising Victor’s achievements, General Manager David Gunther highlighted Victor's valued service across both engineering and leadership roles within Otraco.

Early Career

Beginning his career as a graduate student engineer in 2010 under the guidance of Technical Manager, Tony Cutler, Victor's career progressed with roles as Project Engineer working alongside Senior Project Engineer Walter Frate, where he provided technical support across multiple sites. This included developing maintenance strategies, analysing tyre performance data, and helping implement Otraco’s tyre management systems. 

Victor then moved into operations as Operations Superintendent for the West, where he was responsible for both technical and contractual support — ensuring compliance with client requirements, optimising tyre life and performance, and providing guidance to frontline supervisors and crews. 

Victor later took on greater challenges as Operations Superintendent for BHP, where he grew the region from a team of 70 to 82 tyre technicians, before stepping into his current role as Operations Manager West.

Working alongside fellow leaders Adam Holden, Operations Manager RTIO and Peter Santarossa, Operations Manager East, Victor has a keen sense of teamwork - focused on delivering solutions to help clients move more with less🤝
