To mark the official opening of our new Otraco Training Centre (OTC) in Kewdale, we held a traditional smoking ceremony and welcome to country, hosted by Walter Maguire, a proud Wadjuk Noongar maam (maam in Noongar means man).
The Otraco Training Centre will be home to Perth-based Otraco and Otracom staff.
Our industry-leading facility is equipped to support all levels of training needs; from Trainees to experienced Tyre Technicians. The OTC mimics a functional minesite to ensure trainees leave with the skills and conditioning to be site ready.
We were proud to share our new facility with clients, suppliers and staff, as we showed our guests around the Centre, providing insights into the various workspaces and equipment.
The OTC will be the hub of our Otraco activities for all Western Australia regional operations and hopefully soon, we can recommence training our eastern region teams!
This is a new chapter in the Otraco journey and reaffirms our position as the leading technical experts in tyre maintenance services.
