Our onsite OTR and LME tyre maintenance teams provide 24-hour operational support for customers in some of the most remote regions of Australia, New Zealand, Southern Africa and Chile.

Our teams draw from our hands-on knowledge of client operations combined with highly skilled technical expertise to help clients achieve their specific cost and productivity targets for operations of any size or complexity.

Technical & Engineering

Innovating new tools to improve safety and efficiencies.

Our Technical & Engineering Department (TED) is a geographically diverse team of experienced engineers and technical experts. With over one hundred years of combined earthmover (EM) tyre related experience, TED works collaboratively with our safety and operations teams – and customers worldwide – sharing innovative thinking and advances in state-of-the-art tyre management and processes.

The Technical division is responsible for Policies, papers and guides; Contract management and specification plans; Analysis and reporting; Consulting and investigations; Innovation and continuous improvement; and Industry representation.

The Engineering division focusses on Specialised tooling solutions to improve workshop safety and efficiency; Tooling Investigation; and Tyre workshop procedures – Otraco Best Practice (OBP).

TED is integral to Otraco’s remaining at the forefront of global EM tyre management and service safety, productivity, and innovation.
